Hot take: September might just be the best month of the year. The kids go back to school, sweater weather season begins, and it marks the start of the holiday season.
September might also be your favorite month if you’re in the market to lease a new vehicle. With many automakers eager to sell their 2019 stock to make room for their 2020 models, there is an abundance of aggressive zero down lease deals in September.
Below you’ll find our best zero down lease deals for this month!
1. 2019 Lexus GX 460
Great for driving off the beaten path, the GX 460 is perfect for those looking to combine luxury with extreme off-road capabilities. With an easy to use cabin and luxurious looks inside and out, the 460 offers a unique blend of comfort and versatility. Also able to seat up to seven, you’ll be able to pack your GX to the brim with your whole crew. There is also up to 64.7 cubic feet of cargo space with all the seats down.
Features on the base trim of the GX 460 include a nine-speaker sound system, power moonroof, LED headlamps, daytime running lights, a flip-up rear window, roof rails, running boards, Lexus’ Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, power front seating, driver-seat memory settings, power adjusting steering column, and an 8″ touchscreen. Many driver assistance features are also offered, such as lane departure alert, frontal collision mitigation, and a driver attention monitor.
Powering the GX is a 4.6-liter V8 engine that churns out an impressive 301 horsepower and has a 6,500-pound tow rating. The GX is adept at offering Jeep-like capabilities while maintaining Acura-like luxury.
On the technology front is where the GX falls a bit short, as it does not offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its fuel economy is also lacking as the 460 only offers 18 MPG highway. However, if those two things aren’t an issue for you, the GX 460 is a great option to take on the coming autumn and winter months.

2. 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude
A Jeep that is more for traveling around town than up a mountain, the Compass is a great option for those that like the Jeep look, but don’t necessarily need the robust off-road performance capabilities of a Grand Cherokee. The Compass is also great for those that don’t want a typical Jeep gas guzzler, as you’ll get 31 MPG out of this more efficient crossover SUV.
The Latitude doesn’t have the most standard features, so if having many creature comforts is important to you, the Compass may not be for you. What the Latitude does have is a fantastic 7″ Uconnect infotainment system, keyless ignition and entry, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system. Safety features include advanced multistage front airbags, ParkSense rear back up camera, and a tire pressure monitoring display.
Fitted with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower, the Compass offers modest performance due to Jeep’s focus on wanting to make a more fuel-efficient vehicle.
As you would expect from a Jeep, the Compass is quite versatile. With the seats folded down, cargo space expands to up to 60 cubic feet. The infotainment system is also very easy to use and you’ll be able to quickly master it.
Overall, the 2019 Compass is great for those who just want a touch of rugged style and good fuel economy out of their crossover.

3. 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express
Redesigned for 2019, the new Ram 1500 Classic boasts greater towing capabilities and a stronger frame. The Express is essentially a worker’s truck with its minimalist design and lack of many excess luxury and technology features.
Powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower, the Ram 1500 Classic has a maximum towing capacity of 10,710 pounds.
A bare-bones truck in terms of features, the Classic Express comes with 20″ wheels, a six-speaker sound system, two USB ports, a rearview camera, and cruise control. However, the 1500’s entry-level price offsets the lack of amenities it provides.
Surprisingly, this truck drives exceptionally well. Dispatching turns with ease, piloting the 1500 is a breeze and road noise is kept to a minimum. The interior is also very comfortable and is ideal for long road trips.
Overall, the 1500 Classic is a minimalist truck that is primarily for those that need to haul a ton of cargo and don’t really need much else.

4. 2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport
The 2019 Mazda CX-5 sport offers a fantastic blend of performance, style, and comfort. For those in the market for a small SUV, the CX-5 offers a little bit of everything.
The CX-5 was awarded an IIHS Top Safety Pick and received 5 stars from the NHTSA, making this Mazda a great choice for those that place an imperative on safety. Also included is low-speed forward collision warning and mitigation, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. These safety features will give you, even more, peace of mind while piloting this Mazda.
The handling of this small crossover puts it ahead of the competition. Handling turns without breaking a sweat, the steering on the CX-5 is extremely responsive and is a joy to drive. The CX-5 also offers a great balance between performance and fuel economy. Equipped with a SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine with 187 horsepower and getting an EPA estimated 31 MPG highway,
Standard features on the sport trim of the CX-5 include LED headlights, a 7″ touchscreen, 40/20/40-split rear reclining seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth, a four-speaker audio system, and two USB ports.
The one area where the Sport does fall a bit short is cargo space. Trunk space is smaller than most competitors, but it still provides enough room to fit groceries or a few suitcases. So if you usually don’t fill your trunk to the brim with goods, the space issue shouldn’t affect you.
Overall, the CX-5 Sport is a great small-sized crossover and is a very balanced vehicle in many areas.
